Harness And Williams Expected To Start

It is expected that Marcus Harness and Brandon Williams will start tomorrow away in Yorkshire when Town take on the Millers, who only have two wins to their name so far.

Although local lad Harry Clarke tried his damnedest on Saturday, he will have to play second fiddle to the Manchester United loanee, and he will almost certainly find himself on the bench again. Williams is a much more versatile player. That counts!

There is every chance that Marcus Harness will come into the side too, after his crucial late two-goal brace against Birmingham, which salvaged a point for the Blues. He was named in the Sky Bet Championship Team of the Week, which is not bad for someone who played less than half an hour! The next question, I guess is, who will he replace?

If you were a betting man you would probably go for Nathan Broadhead  – although even Conor Chaplin might find his place in the side under threat. Some Town fans have even suggested that George Hirst will make way for Harness, but I think this is unlikely.

Harness has been on fire of late, so it seems inevitable that Ipswich manager McKenna will include him in the starting eleven. Rotherham United currently find themselves in the bottom three, and if conditions are a lot better than on Saturday, then I would expect Town to come away with all three points. I would certainly hope so, anyway!
