Ipswich will have another striking option available for the game at Reading tomorrow, and for the remainder of the season after Conor Sammon was signed on loan today.
Mick McCarthy has boosted our firepower by bringing in the Republic of Ireland international in from Derby County on a season-loan loan.
The 27-year-old, who has nine international caps to his name to date, made his name in the premier league with Wigan Athletic before moving to Derby in August 2012 but will be at Portman Road for the remainder of this season.
Sammon trained with us for the first time today and should make the bench, at least, at the Madjeski Stadium tomorrow.
