The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game between Sheffield Wednesday and Ipswich Town this Tuesday.

Sheffield Wednesday host Ipswich Town on Tuesday March 6 for the game at Hillsborough and the match carries a 7.45pm kick off.

Assistant Refs: James Wilson and Robert Merchant
Fourth Official: Carl Boyeson

Match Day referee Langford has officiated 32 games in 2017/18, showing 100 yellow cards and four red cards so far.

He took in 44 games in 2016/17 with a return of 129 yellows and five red cards.

His highest card count that year was nine yellows in the game between Swindon Town and Bristol Rovers.

He took in 41 matches in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 99 yellow cards and four red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Burton Albion and Millwall on December 1 with a total of seven yellows being shown, along with one red.

Langford is a very experienced match official, with nine seasons as an EFL referee under his belt. As part of the PGMO development programme, he has officiated in the Dallas Cup and Algarve Cup. He has now refereed nearly 200 EFL matches.
