£4 million for Jon Walters from Stoke City!?
The Premiership side are known admirers of the Ipswich captain, and are reported to ready to offer Town £4 million for his services this summer, not that Roy Keane will be willing to let him go by any means.
It’s fair to say Jon hasn’t had the best of season’s this year, but on his day he can be one of the league’s best players. We”ll need to see more of those days next season if we want to go anywhere.
Keano really rates Walters – it’s clear to see that with the way he praises him in interviews, and of course, he wouldn’t have made him skipper if he didn’t like him. Unless it’s a stupid bid, I don’t think Ipswich will sell.
