More reports have appeared in the tabloids today linking Man U’s Lee Martin with a move to Ipswich, but just how much would he cost?
He is thought to be out of contract at Old Trafford now so that means he is available on a free transfer unless United have offered him a new deal which means Town would have to pay United a fee for the 22-year-old as he is not 24. But that would depend on Roy Keane’s ability to tempt Martin to move from the Premier League champions.
Depending on what you read, the Blues could pay up to £2 million for the left-winger’s services.
Town need to sign a new left-midfielder or two to provide cover and competition for the injured Luca Civelli, who won’t be able to play first team football for another six months.
