Leadbitter itching for Ipswich action

Blues skipper Grant Leadbitter would rather be in action for Ipswich tomorrow than stewing on yet another defeat.
Following Town`s third defeat in a row, when Rovers beat them 3-2 at Portman Road on Saturday, Leadbitter insisted he wanted an early opportunity to get back to winning ways.
“I would prefer a game tomorrow,” he said. “It is going to be a long two weeks and we are going to be hurting.”
Another player looking to get back in the swing of things is Colin Healy who was made the scapegoat for Town`s terrible first half showing against Doncaster when he was haul d off after half an hour.
He marched into manager Paul Jewell`s office on Monday morning to make his feelings clear but in the post match press conference the Town boss made it clear he could have taken off any of the midfield, so poor were they.
Instead of watching Ipswich, Town fans will be hoping to see David Stockdale in action for England against Spain and maybe see former Blues players Jordan Rhodes play for Scotland or Jon Walters for the Republic of Ireland.
