Juan out but Lee not

Lee scorer of both goals in Towns’ 2-0 win against Southampton was under the impression the booking he also picked up in the same game was his 5th of the campaign

Today is was confirmed by the Welsh FA that Lee had in fact only picked up 3 previous bookings this season whilst with Cardiff, a total of 4 so far and meaning he won’t be suspended for Towns clash with Leeds on Tuesday

Jimmy Juan will miss the game as he did pick up his fifth yellow against the Saints

Lee speaking on his relief at being able to play:

It is a huge relief, I had it implanted in my mind that I was up for a ban. I must have got it wrong.

‘If I had to sit out the Leeds game it would have been terrible.

‘After the fun I had against Southampton I cannot wait to get back on the pitch again. But I will have to be careful from now on as I don’t want to sit out any games.’
