Ipswich vs Newcastle will be shown live on Sk.. ahem.. the BBC! (I can call us Championship giants now yes?)
The Beeb won the rights to show ten live Championship games for the coming season, and Town’s match at home against the promotion favourites will be the second one that they show next season.
The channel is yet to be confirmed, but will be either one BBC One or Two, and also available online. Kick-off has been pushed back a couple of hours to 5.30pm.
Remember, BBC will also be home to a highlights show for the Football League games.
West Brom against Newcastle is first up on the Beeb on the opening day, kick-off also now at 5.30pm on BBC One.
