Brizzle City manager Gary Johnson believes that Lee Martin will end up at Portman Road.
The Robins gaffer says that they were interested in the 22-year-old Man U left winger, but negotiations didn’t progress far. He said: ‘We did have discussions with his representatives.
‘He’s very close with Roy Keane and I think he’ll end up with him. There was interest initially from us, but we pulled out very early.’
Ipswich could be forced to pay up to £2 million for his services according to the tabloids, while other reports say that he will be free.
