Liam Trotter will play anywhere, so long as he is in the Ipswich side come the start of the season.
The 20-year-old who only recently agreed a new twelve month deal at the club, was probably the best Town player on pitch on Tuesday night against Finn Harps, winning the penalty that led to Ipswich’s goal.
Delboy was operating in a more attacking role, something that he is most comfortable with: ‘I prefer to be bombing forward. I won the penalty and was only slightly offside a couple of times with runs that will probably come good once the fitness is there.’
He says he will do anything, as long as he is in the side: ‘I’m happy to play anywhere as long as it means I’m in the team.’
