Towns new manager looks set to benefit from last summers £2.5 million sale of Darren Bent.
It appears that Liverpool are keen on the Charlton striker, and look to be prepared to pay £9.5 million for him.
A clause in the sale will see Town bag 20% of any profit, adding around £1.38 million to the new managers transfer funds, along with anything raised from the upcoming share issue.
Magilton and Klug now seem the hot favourites to take the Town post, and an appointment is expected to be made next week.
