Town Ticket Promotion For Palace Match

Ipswich Town are offering another special ticket promotion for the home match against Crystal Palace on Saturday 9 April, with offers available to both season ticket holders and Silver Members.

Ipswich suffered a 3-1 defeat to the Eagles upon their last visit to Portman Road in 2009, but the Blues came out on top in the last meeting between the two in August, walking away from Selhurst Park with a 2-1 victory. Palace have continued to struggle since then and are likely to be facing a battle for survival when they come to Town in April.

Attendances at Portman Road have been somewhat disappointing this season, with an average crowd of just over 19,000. However, the Blues enjoyed support from a season-best crowd of 23,345 against Portsmouth following a ticket promotion for season ticket holders, and the club are hoping for the same against Palace.

As with the Portsmouth match, season ticket holders are entitled to claim a maximum of four extra tickets for friends and family at special discount prices for the visit of the Eagles. Adult tickets will cost £10 as opposed to the standard £26 Grade B ticket price, whilst those for seniors, students or under-20s are priced at £8 and under-16s at just £3 each. The discount is available in all areas except corporate hospitality zones.

In addition, this time there will also be a similar offer for Silver Members. Each member can purchase their first adult ticket for £20 (or £10 for a concession), and then get up to four extra tickets at discounted prices. These prices are available in all areas of the stadium and will be the same as those for the season ticket holder offer: £10 for each adult, £8 for concessions or £3 for juniors. Supporters should note that discounted tickets are not available through the online ticketing system, but they can be purchased by calling the Ticket Office or visiting a Planet Blue store.
