Championship action continues to come thick and fast with Ipswich in action again tonight, away from home.

St Andrew’s is the setting this evening as Ipswich travel to Birmingham City looking to bounce back from a weekend defeat.

Birmingham are expected to welcome David Davis (rib) and Lee Novak (calf) back from injury after both were forced off in a one-nil win over Brighton & Hove Albion at the weekend.

Elliott Hewitt (groin) picked up a slight problem in our one-nil defeat at Reading on Saturday and need to prove his fitness.

A debut could come for Jonathan Parr (groin) after he recovered from injury with Paul Anderson (hamstring) also pushing for a return to Mick McCarthy’s squad.

The last meeting took place at Portman Road in March, which we won one-nil and we’re unbeaten in the last five meetings with Birmingham, winning three of them. That being said we’ve only secured one league and cup win in 14 away trips since 1986, we won this game one-nil in 2012.

Can the weekend defeat be bounced back from do you think?
