Ian Harte has revealed how he was confident Ipswich would crack under late pressure and Reading would come back and win.
Harte said: ‘Ipswich got the two goals but we kept going.
‘We knew if we put pressure on them they would crack as they did in previous games.’
The Royals defender played an important part in both of Reading`s eqaulisers when he delivered excellent left-footed set plays for Kaspars Gorkss and Alex Pearce before Noel Hunt struck a late, late winner.
‘We gave away two sloppy goals so it was good to be able to get those set plays and I was able to put decent deliveries into the box and Gorkss and Pearce got on the end of them, said Harte.
‘Then Noel got that late goals as well and that shows the fighting spirit we have in this team.’
