Roy Doesn’t Rule Out Butt Bid

A summer move for Roy Keane’s old Man U teammate Nicky Butt is not completely out of the question.

The Newcastle midfielder is leaving the Championship winners in the summer after six years with the Magpies. Speaking after Ipswich’s 2-2 draw at St. James’, Keano encouraged the 35-year-old to keep on playing: “As long as you can still play, play as long as you can. There are plenty of years for coaching.”

But when asked if he would be interested in signing him, he responded with a ‘we’ll see’.
