Not for the first time Ipswich are thought to be interested in signing Stephen Henderson again, in fact it’s said that the club are ‘hoping to resurrect’ a move for him in the wake of Aaron Cresswell going to West Ham United.

Henderson would be third choice at best at Upton Park so needs to get a move away from the premier league side to get his career back on track, which has stalled dramatically since he joined West Ham from Portsmouth.

A previous loan spell with Ipswich took place in 2012 and it looks like it would be a loan again?

It’s thought that the deal that took Cresswell to West Ham was one that we wanted Henderson to be a part of but a problem over wages prevented this, which it is believed surrounded the portion of these that Ipswich would pay.

It’s thought a 50:50 split is wanted by 75:25, with West Ham paying more, is what we would prefer….

Henderson is a fine ‘keeper so if he can return he would be a great addition to Mick McCarthy’s squad, do you think it will happen though?
