According to reports, reported target Daryl Murphy is on his way to Premiership side Hull.
Murphy is said to make up part of a £5 million deal that also includes bringing Dean Whitehead to Portman Road from Sunderland. However, the lure of regular Premiership football with the Tigers is said to have swayed Murphy and could soon be presented at the KC Stadium.
His value differs depending on what you read, and some sources claim that he could cost up to £3 million – and that is despite scoring just 16 goals in well over 100 games for Sunderland, although he is much more likely to cost around £1 million.
