Arran Lee-Barrett has signed a year and a half long deal with Ipswich.

The keeper has put pen to paper with his short term contract coming to an end this month, having originally only signed as cover for Richard Wright after Shane Supple’s retirement from the game at the start of the season.

However, Wrighty got injured after loan keeper Asmir Begovic’s stay was cut short by crisis club Portsmouth, meaning Lee-Barrett got his chance in the first team and has took his chance with both hands, or perhaps more appropriately, gloves.
