Jim STILL wants Norris!

Having already had two bids for the former Bolton man turned down, Ipswich boss Jim Magilton has confirmed that he is still eager to land his man.

You might be forgiven for thinking that Magilton would have given up in his attempt to sign Norris, but it is now understood that Magic is preparing to go back in for the Pilgrims midfielder.

There is obviously something Jim really likes about this lad and it is clearly evident he is willing to do just about everything in order to obtain Norris’ services.

Some sections of the press have reported that Plymouth are demanding a fee of £2 million which could well be matched by Town over the next couple of days. Leicester, managed by ex-Argyle manager Ian Holloway is reported to have matched that valuation, but it is understood that Plymouth will withstand any offer from him after the two parted on unsavoury terms.

In other news, it is looking increasing likely that Magilton will make a second move for Leicester defender Gareth McAuley, but this deal is all dependent on Leicester’s willingness to let him go which could prove a stumbling block.
