Latest reports are claiming that Paul Jewell is lined up to be named the new manager of Ipswich Town Football Club.

Jewell, formerly of Wigan Athletic and Derby County, could be announced as the new boss this morning with a press conference called at 11am, where the club is expected to confirm the departure of manager Roy Keane. Town were swift to appoint the Irishman back in 2009 after the sacking of Jim Magilton less than 24 hours earlier, so a similarly quick turnaround at Portman Road today would not be too surprising.
