Blues boss Paul Jewell is weighing up a move for a new keeper with West Brom’s Luke Daniels and Remko Pasveer of Dutch club Heracles, seemingly the men he is looking to choose between.

Jewell has watched both keeper recently, Daniels a couple of times playing on loan for Southend, and Pasveers in his side’s 2-0 defeat by Den Hag.

Daniels was a youngster with Manchester United before joining West Bromwich Albion in 2004 but has not made a league appearance for either Premier League outfit.

The keeper, who will be 24 in January, has been shipped out on loan to Scottish Premier League side Motherwell and helped Shrewsbury Town in the League Two play-off final at Wembley

He has also been at Tranmere and Bristol Rovers.

Pasveer is older at 28 and is the son of former FC Twente keeper Eddie Pasveer

The 6ft 1in has been on loan with Go Ahead Eagles but is now the first choice with Eredivisie side Heracles.
