Roy Keane remains determined to sign Michael Chopra for a second time in his managerial career, and as such has stepped up his efforts to bring him to Ipswich.

Cardiff have already rejected a £3.75m offer and this has seen Keane, according to ‘reports’, increase this offer to £4m, the amount Cardiff paid to re-sign the striker anyway, as he looks to sign the 26-year-old again having previously signed him during his time with Sunderland.

Chopra is ‘thought’ to be available so long as Cardiff can bring in the replacement that they want first.
