Damien Delaney suffered a stress fracture to a foot during the home defeat by Crystal Palace and will be out for around six weeks
Blues boss Paul Jewell told itfc.co.uk: “Damien has a stress fracture of his foot and he’s going to be out for a little while.
“He had an operation yesterday and he will be out for maybe six weeks or so, but I’m not sure on an exact time-scale so we will have to just wait and see.”
On a brighter note Daryl Murphy has started running again after picking up a a hamstring problem playing for the ressies againts Arsenal last week, while Lee Bowyer’s bad back is getting better.
