Garvan and Bruce Join Up with Squad

Both Alex Bruce and Owen Garvan have joined up with the squad for pre-season training after their extended break.

Garvan and Bruce were given an extra week of holiday by Ipswich Town boss Jim Magilton as they both spent much of their summer break with the Republic of Ireland senior squad.

More significantly, Garvan’s arrival should mean that contract negotiations between Magilton and Garvan should take place.

It still remains a mystery as to whether Garvan will commit to Town or not, but one thing clear is that the Irishman will be moving on if he doesn’t sign a new contract.
