Former Blue Thomas Gaardsoe may be forced to end his career due to a groin injury he has carried since febuary.
Gaardsoe said ‘I am at a stage right now where in a couple of weeks’ time we will decide whether there is any point to continue with the rehab training or if I should stop my career at the top level.
‘In case there is any hope, I will continue to train and in case I get fully fit, it will be an advantage with a new manager.’
Gaardsoe left to join West Brom in 2004 for £600 000 after joining for over £1 million in 2002.
