Fulham Make Bid For Cresswell

Fulham have made a £3.3million move for Ipswich left back Aaron Cresswell, according to sources in London.

While Everton and Wigan have also been linked it appear Martin Jol is the first to show his hand and Marcus Evans is mulling over the bid from the London club.

It is likely Town will reject the initial bid for the player Mick McCarthy has been talking up, but the Cottagers are likely to test their resolve with a higher bid.

Although Cresswell has made it clear he is happy at Ipswich there is no doubt a switch to the top flight appeals and it would be no surprise, although a big shame if our player of the year left.
