Bialkowski’s Signature Secured

Ipswich have concluded, and officially confirmed, the signing of Bartosz Bialkowski from Notts County.

Have the club already gone back on Mick McCarthy’s insistence that no fees would be paid for players? I say this as we said that we had brought him in ‘from Notts County for an undisclosed fee,’ which implies something was paid? Would a free be described as an undisclosed fee?

Whatever has, or hasn’t, been paid for the ‘keeper he has signed a two-year contract with the option of a third.

He will be a good addition to the squad and will challenge Dean Gerken for the no.1 spot, but who will get it?
