Be Afraid Ipswich, Very Afraid

The Blues, having lost seven games in a row, could only watch as Saturday’s opponents went eighth in the Championship with a 2-1 win over Crystal Palace.

A week ago Palace beat Manchester United, but two goals from Ricardo Vaz Te proved their undoing, even though Jermaine Easter got a Palace equaliser.

It took the Tykes to four wins in a row under Keith Hill and a fifth successive victory could take them into the play-off places.

Looking on the positive side Ipswich’s worst run in 16 years has to come to an end some time and Barnsley are always beatable.
