Alan Quinn is again said to be interesting Championship rivals Barnsley, who are ready to pay £150,000 for his services.
Quinny joined Ipswich from Sheffield United for around £400,000 in January of last year, but was unable to nail down a place in the first team, although that is probably down to previous manager Jim Magilton constantly rotating his squad last season. He made 34 Championship appearances in the last campaign for the Blues, scoring twice.
For someone who can play anywhere across the midfield and always gives his all, £150k seems a very very cheap price. However, it may well be the case that Quinny will only be a squad player next season so Town could look to sell.
