New signing Richard Wright has insisted that he has no qualms about working with new goalkeeping coach James Hollman.

There were suggestions that Wright wanted ex-Ipswich goalkeeping coach Malcolm Webster to get the job vacated by Andy Rhodes. Webster and Wright most recently worked together on the south-coast at Southampton.

However, Plug has insisted that he is more than happy to work with Hollman, who was on the books as a player in Wright’s first spell at the club, though Hollman never made an appearance at Ipswich.

Wright said: ‘Malcolm Webster is like a father to me. James speaks to Malcolm all the time, I speak to him all the time, and James is similar in many ways to Malcolm and we know each other very well.

‘I’m delighted to be working with James. James speaks to Malcolm all the time, I speak to him all the time, and James is similar in many ways to Malcolm and we know each other very well.’
