Bournemouth defender Jason Pearce and Dagenham & Redbridge midfielder Danny Green have both emerged as potential targets for Ipswich Town this summer.

Defender Pearce joined then League Two Bournemouth from south coast neighbours Portsmouth in 2007 and has since become a major fixture in the Cherries lineup. The 23-year-old, who also netted 3 goals this season, has made a total 161 league appearances for Bournemouth helping them to promotion from League Two in 2009/10 before starting every match of their 2010/11 campaign to reach the League One Playoffs. Despite insistence from Bournemouth chairman Eddie Mitchell that the player is not for sale, Pearce is hotly tipped for a move to the next level with Ipswich reportedly challenging Burnley, Barnsley and Championship newcomers Peterborough for his signature.

Town and Peterborough are also said to be competing for the services of right-sided midfielder Green. The Dagenham youngster has impressed in two seasons with the club, netting 24 times in 88 appearances. Peterborough look to be the favourites for the 22-year-old’s signature but Crystal Palace are also understood to be interested in the former Nottingham Forest winger.
