Gunners goalkeeper Vito Mannone could face Ipswich on Saturday in the FA Cup after rejoining Hull City on loan until the end of the season
That would appear to rule out a move to the Tigers for Newcastle United back up keeper Steve Harper who is looking for regular football, and had been linked with Nick barmby’s promotion chasers.
The 23 year old Italian was on loan at the KC Stadium last year and even though he signed a long-term contract with Arsenal in 2010 he has only made 10 appearances for them.
