Ipswich midfielder Cole Skuse admitted many Town players were unhappy with their performances after the 1-0 defeat at lowly Millwall.

Town were beaten by a Ryan Fredricks goal, which was meant to be a cross but beat Dean Gerken.

“It was a very frustrating afternoon,” Cole told the Ipswich official website.

“A lot of us have held our hands up in the dressing-room and the manager has said his piece after the game. It`s just been one of those days where nothing has gone right for us today.

“We can say that nothing went for us but at the same time, we didn`t really make any of our own luck which is disappointing.

“It`s frustrating that we perhaps didn`t have the same drive in terms of chances as we have done recently and it`s disappointing that we`ve allowed the game to fizzle out.

“A disappointing day all round but we have to learn from this and try and put things right on Saturday.”

Town need to buck up or they will soon slip back to mid-table mediocrity.
