Ipswich Town’s Velice Sumulikoski has been withdrawn from Macedonia’s squad so as to allow a full recovery from a shin injury that plagued him at the end of the season just passed.

Sumulikoski was originally pencilled in to feature in a friendly against Poland later on in the month but Magilton has put his foot down and not allowed Shumi to travel.

It is understood, fortunately for all concerned with ITFC, that the Macedonian’s shin injury should clear up well before the start of pre-season after it was initially feared he would need surgery.
