Shock Exit On The Cards

Jordan Rhodes is on his way to Huddersfield – and it’s not a joke, but the price rumoured that Huddersfield are paying is.

Rhodes has been tipped to break into the Ipswich first-team this season, and netted in Town’s 2-0 win over Colchester last Saturday just seconds after coming on. Manager Roy Keane praised the striker after the game for his impact, and revealed that he turned down a bid for the striker when he was first appointed as boss.

But it now looks as if Rhodes will be joining Huddersfield in League One, playing alongside Town disaster signing Gary Roberts.

The price quoted is £150,000. It makes me sick just typing it! Obviously we don’t know if this is the true price, but £150,000 for someone tipped to have such big future in the game is almost like giving him away.
