Roberts Wants To Stay

On-loan Gary Roberts wants to make his move to Portman Road permanent.

The Accrington winger has enjoyed his loan spell which is due to expire in january.

Roberts said: ‘I’m sure in my mind that I want to stay here. I love it here and it is just a matter of time before I will sign. It is just a case of sorting the details out.’

Boss Magilton is similarly keen to keep the winger. ‘The simple fact is I’m delighted to have him here at this club and we’ll definitely want to keep him when the loan deal ends next month.

‘We’ve already spoken to Accrington and hopefully we can get it sorted. And if somebody else comes in, I’ll belt them and kill them!’

Roberts is thought to be valued at around £200 000 by Accrington Stanley.
