Danny Simpson could join Ipswich but this time on a permanent basis after apparently being told that he can leave Man Utd.
Simpson spent the whole of last season on loan at Blackburn but was unable to win a place in the side for the most part. At the end of the 2007/08 season, he played eight games for Town under Jim Magilton’s reign.
The 22-year-old is still under contract at Old Trafford and United would probably want around £1 million for his services. But do Ipswich really need to spend any money at all on another right back? David Wright is one of the best players at the club!
