Miller to Move on?

Tommy Miller has been linked with a move out of the club in the near future after failing to secure a regular first team spot, with his old club Hartlepool reportedly keen on him.

Miller is one of 14 Town players who are out of contract at the end of the season, meaning he would be able to start discussions with any potential suitors in the January transfer window with a view to leaving for free in the summer.

It is likely that if a deal was agreed between Hartlepool and Miller, Ipswich would accept a nominal fee and allow Miller to move on in January with Town currently overloaded with centre-midfielders.

Miller joined the Blues from Hartlepool before the 2001/2002 season and enjoyed some successful seasons with Town, before moving onto Sunderland. Last season, manager Jim Magilton brought him back to the club and enjoyed a run in the first team before the arrival of Veliche Shumulikoski and David Norris in January.
