Last night Ipswich Town held their annual Season Awards dinner and David McGoldrick was the big winner bagging the Players’ Player of the Year Award for is showings this season.

A knee ligament injury brought his season to an early end, but the fact that we were so close to picking up a play off spot this campaign in no short measure came down to his own performance levels on the pitch and the 16 goals he scored prior to injury.

On loan Jonny Williams’ 30 yard strike against Derby County picked up the Goal of the Season gong and Daryl Murphy picked up the John Kerridge Memorial Trophy for the ‘most improved’ player.

Kyle Hammond, currently recovering from a cruciate ligament injury, grabbed the Academy Player of the Year Award, whilst Cristophe Berra took the Supporters’ Player of the Year, Junior Blues’ Player of the Year and the Corporate Customers’ Player of the Year gongs.

Photos and a list of all the winners are available on the Official Site.
