It has been revealed that ex-French International and Lyon striker Steve Marlet, has not done enough to earn a contract at Town and becomes the latest trial casualty.
Marlet was involved in Ipswich Town Reserves’ 3-0 win over Luton and managed to get a goal in the process. Other goals coming from Dean Bowditch and Danny Haynes.
However, his trial period ended with him not doing enough to convince boss Magilton that he still has what it takes to be a success at Portman Road.
Meanwhile, triallist German keeper Jonas Sela, has also been rejected by Ipswich after a week long trial spell at Portman Road and is now training with Brighton and Hove Albion.
