Police are looking into a tackle on Ipswich Town’s Aaron Cresswell by former Blues striker DJ Campbell, which led to a first half booking.
the incident came during Town’s win over Blackburn last week.
Campbell was arrested, then bailed by police, as part of an investigation into players taking money from betting syndicates for a series of incidents during games.
The matter came to a head after newspapers ran undercover operations
