Mick McCarthy is ready to unload Ipswich Town failures Michael Chopra and Jay Emmanuel-Thomas.
The high-earning duo will be sold, if Town can find a buyer, in order for the Blues boss to bring in new players ready to put in a proper shift to help the Blues be promotion contenders.
Chopra has been nothing but trouble since he arrived, and is understood to be on around £18,000 a week, but has produced nothing like the amount of goals expected.
JET has shown glimpses of ability but the former Arsenal forward has not shown enough to be part of McCarthy’s squad and would be better off elsewhere.
Meanwhile,
Arran Lee-Barrett and Andy Drury have been released. Drury, a hard-working, honest, midfielder is bound to be picked up on a free by at least a League One club.
Lee Martin has rejected a new, lower, contract deal and will leave, with Crawley his most likely destination.
