FA Cup Goals

With the Super Blues without a game this weekend Vital Ipswich had a look at how some of our old boys did in the FA Cup with teams from the lower reaches.

Ed Upson, he who scored the winner in the 2005 FA Youth Cup for the Blues when he was just 15, netted the opener for Yeovil at Hereford before Gavin Williams made it 2-0 as the Glovers went on to win 3-0.

MK Dons eased past non-league Nantwich with Dean Bowditch, remember his hat-trick for Town against Watford? firing in a goal in each half as they reached the second round with a comfortable 6-0 victory.

Flying Finn Shefki Kuqi continued his great goal-scoring run for Oldham when he buried a fourth minute penalty to help the Latics overcome Burton Albion 3-1.

Not such a good day for Connor Hourihane, he was brought to Town by Roy Keane, who was sent off for Plymouth as they were held to a 3-3 draw by non-league Stourbridge.

Have I missed anyone? Would you like to offer a view on those dearly departed to pastures new?
