Despite being seven points and five places off the play-offs, Ipswich boss Jim Magilton insists that he is still the man to lead the Blues.
In fact, Jim still holds hopes of top in the top six. He said: ‘”I don’t think we’re out of the promotion race. There are still 15 games left and I still believe we can get somewhere.
‘I believe I’m the right man for the job, definitely. You might not think I am but I do.’
The 3-0 defeat to play-off chasing Swansea at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday was the first league defeat that Town had suffered in 2009, but Ipswich must win their next two home games to hold any realistic hopes of having something to play for in the latter stages of this season.
