Striker Michael Mifsud has been highlighted as the ‘Dangerman’ for Town’s upcoming game against Coventry City.

The Coventry striker has just returned from a bout of food poisoning, which forced him to miss the Sky Blues’ last game.

The Maltese international was picked up on a free transfer by former Coventry boss Micky Adams. Since his arrival at the Ricoh Arena, Mifsud has made 74 appearances and scored 15 goals for the club, including 2 in the Carling Cup victory over Manchester United in 2007.

Normally a striker, Mifsud has been making most of his appearances for Coventry this season from the left of midfield and this is his likely starting position when the clubs meet tommorow.

The diminutive striker doesn’t thrive with the ball played up to his head, but with the ball at his feet his pace and skill can tear any defence in the league to pieces.

Mifsud was linked with a move away from the club in the summer; Bristol City even had a bid accepted for Mifsud. However, the negotiations fell through and Bristol went on to sign Town target Nicky Maynard.
