Another dogged performance produced a vital away point for the Blues.

Daryl Murphy fired Town ahead after good work from David McGoldrick and Frank Nouble, with the former celtic man bagging his seventh goal of the season.

Ipswich were hanging on a bit second half and eventually cracked when Dean Gerken failed to hold a long range shot and Brett Pitman knocked in the rebound.

The draw was enough to push Town back into sixth spot and with half the season gone are genuine play off contenders.
