West Ham keeper Richard Wright is reportedly on the verge of sealing his return to Portman Road after Ipswich and the Hammers have agreed a fee.

Earlier in the week, manager Jim Magilton confirmed his interest in the 30-year-old who signed for West Ham one year ago. At this stage of his career, Wright is looking to be playing regular football after benchwarming for most of last season at Upton Park.

It is alleged that the move for Wright could finally be complete next week, which will see an end to the search for a number one keeper at Portman Road since Neil Alexander left for Rangers in January.
