Ipswich Town legend Fabian Wilnis looks set to join Blue Square Premier League side Grays Athletic after impressing during a trial spell.
The popular Dutchman had previously been linked with a move to Ryman Premier League side Needham Market but obviously the lure of Conference football was too hard to pass up for the 37-year-old.
Despite previous speculation, Wilnis will not be taking up a player-coach role with the Essex side but is expected to sign a one-year deal solely as a player.
