We Got A Terrific Deal On Chopra

Paul Jewell has said that the fee for Michael Chopra was only a million pounds and it represented a terrific deal for Ipswich.

Speaking to the Green ‘Un, Jewell said he was amazed that Ipswich were able to get such a top striker for so little as he believes he is the best in the division.

‘We only paid a million pounds for him, I think Cardiff wanted to change things around a bit, maybe Chops wanted a fresh challenge. All I know is that we got a terrific deal because I think he’s the best striker in the division.’
