Skipper Jon Walters says he has a small tear in his hamstring, but should be back in action in around a fortnight.

The former Chester man had to be replaced at half time in Ipswich’s 2-1 defeat to Southampton in the FA Cup fourth round, but says the injury isn’t serious and it shouldn’t be too long before we see him back in a Town shirt.

He told the club site: ‘I had a scan at the start of the week and there’s a small tear in the hamstring.

‘It’s not too bad and hopefully it will just be a couple of weeks.’
